All services
are used to reach individuals and families, pull them close enough
to allow them to be presented the Law and the
Gospel.
No one is to benefit from
our services without learning of two truths with eternal consequences:
First, "The Law": the depravity of man and his
separation from God and his destination for judgement and Hell
because of his transgression of The Law.
Second, "The
Gospel": Jesus died for our sins, he took our punishment for
us. And if we repent and put our trust in him we will avoid
judgement and shall have everlasting life.
Without the
presentation of the Gospel we would be no more than a social
program.
We realize
the most important decision one must ever make will be where they
spend their eternity.
We also believe that the body of
Christ is made up of individual followers and is not confined to
a building or denomination. It is of great importance to put aside
minor theological differences and focus on the most important
task and final commandment by Jesus given unto us: "Therefore go and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things, whatever I
commanded you. "
Our
second purpose is to recruit, equip, motivate and mobilize missionaries in Conneaut,
OH. We believe you do not have to step
foot on a plane to be a missionary. There is plent of work to
be done here. We believe every follower of Jesus is commanded to the Great
Commission and our ministy's second objective is to promote and provide
this opportunity to all of God's children in the area.
We recognize that different people have different gifts. Our goal
is to recognize those gifts and utilze them accordingly. There
is a great need for the Gospel in Conneaut, OH but of
course the discipleship can also prepare a missionary to go abroad if
that is their calling in the future.
